Topic: CBB 1/14 - 1/20
A solid week of action. Heck, ESPN is even publishing their Bubble Watch columns now, so it definitely time for some big conference games.
Georgetown at Pittsburgh, 7pm (ESPN HD) - Big Monday = Big East. Pitt, despite the early wins, is in survival mode because of injuries. A win here by Georgetown helps to start establishing them as the Beast of the East.
Oklahoma at Kansas, 9pm (ESPN HD) - More Big Monday. Oklahoma could use a win here to make their metrics look better come Selection Sunday.
BYU at UNLV, 11pm (The mtn) - An early season game for a pair of teams that may reside in a one-bid conference. BYU has stumbled since their early win over Louisville.
Vanderbilt at Tennessee, 7pm (ESPN HD) - Winner has the early lead in the SEC East. Both teams are top 15 and since its in-state, the game should have plenty of intensity.
Arizona at Stanford, 11pm (FSN HD) - Both teams are looking got to establish themselves as the third best team in the PAC-10.
Niagara at Canisius, 7pm (ESPNU) - Means nothing to 99.99% of the country, but for those of us who are alums of the schools, it absolutely means everything. Go Griffs!
Villanova at Syracuse, 12pm (ESPN HD) - The Orange have been playing decently and were eased into non-conference play with games against St. John's and USF to start. Villanova's profile doesn't stand out either at this point and someone needs to step up after G'Town and Marquette.
USC at UCLA, 3:30pm (CBS HD) - The L.A. crosstown rivalry has heated up over the past few years. OJ Mayo vs. the Best of the West? Check it out.
Clemson at Duke, 6pm (ESPN HD) - Clemson needs to slow down their slide. They may have been hosed by the management of the game clock last year and it put them in a slide that they never recovered from.
Miami (FL) at NC State, 8pm (Raycom/ESPN Full Court) - Another game that later in the year will be used to put possibly one of these teams in the tournament.
